Ruth

Ruth is the third-born in a family of four orphaned children and lives with her grandmother, who is a widow. Deeply hurt by her circumstances, Ruth was angry with God and often fought with everyone around her. Josephine understood the source of her anger and patiently walked with her until Ruth began to open up and share her pain.

Today, Josephine is her close friend. When Ruth’s anger begins to surface, Josephine only

needs to look at her—Ruth smiles, and the anger melts away.

After high school, Ruth completed a six-month hospitality course and now works in a hotel. She is the primary caregiver for her younger sister, who will join high school next year, and she also supports her grandmother.
